Glass provides a fantastic alternative to traditional tile splashbacks with its clean, crisp and timeless form. Our state of the art UV printing and colour coating process enable us to produce high quality decorative glass products that are used in splashbacks, work tops, shower screens and wall paneling.

  PRINTED GLASS SPECIALISTS

In addition to painted finishes we are able to print directly onto glass using specially formulated UV inks. This has enabled designers to continue a decorative theme onto glass panels, an alternative to solid colours that are more traditional with painted glass splashbacks.

All Splashbacks we supply are custom made to exacting standards and manufactured from 6mm toughened Starphire Glass™. All edges are given a flat polish for a finished look and optimum safety. Well known for their high quality products, 3M™ and PPG™ finishes are used in our painting, etching and sealing processes.

1. What is included in the price?

• Initial site visit to take accurate measurements

2. Can I use this glass product in bathrooms and showers?

Yes. Our colour coating is guaranteed to adhere to glass and is unaffected by steam and most caustic agents. All glass in this situation is toughened for safety to meet Australian Standards.

3. How long do I have to wait?

Our normal lead-time is 3 weeks from site survey to final installation.

4. How large can a sheet of toughened glass be?

Our maximum sheet size for 6mm toughened glass is 3.6m x 2.5m

5. Is there a delivery charge

All delivery charges are included in our price within the Brisbane metro area extending from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast

6. What condition does the wall need to be in?

The glass can be installed over almost any surface for example: tiles, plaster board, paint work, MDF. The wall needs to be reasonably level and free from any protrusions.

7. How is the glass installed?

The glass is installed using a neutral cure silicone directly onto your wall.

8. What colours are available?

We have a range of standard colours but with our colour matching capability we can match to virtually any existing colour.

9. What is Starphire glass?

Starphire glass is 'low iron' and the most optically clear glass available. This means that any colour can be achieved. Regular 'clear' glass or ‘float glass’ has a higher content of iron, which gives the glass a slight green tint, the result is that the colour is aleways viewed through a slight green filter meaning you don’t get exactly the colour originally chosen.

10. How do you clean Glass Splashbacks?

You can clean the glass with any form of glass cleaner.

11. Do you offer a guarentee?

We give a 10-year guarantee on paint discolouration and delamination, and a 90 day guarantee on installation.

12. What is so special about the product?

Our glass is optically clear which means that when we coat the back of the glass you will see true colour definition. We toughen our glass for maximum durability and safety. The coating we use on the back is so durable that you could leave the product in the worst conditions outside and it would not suffer any damage. With an extensive background in the kitchen and shop-fitting industry we understand the needs and high standards required of the market and can offer the service to satisfy you.

13. What other special effects are available?

We are able to digitally transfer any image or design directly to the back of the glass. Using a specially formulated process the design or image is printed directly to the back of the glass and then permanently sealed in with the application of a backing coat. The UV inks used in combination with the direct to glass printing produces a finish that can be used internally or externally and will not delaminate.
